Balap Karung(sack race)

Balap Karung(in indonesian/Sack race)is one of popular traditional race on the day Indonesia's independence. A number of participants required to enter the lower body into a sack and then raced to the finish line.
Although often criticized because they encourage the spirit of competition and as fun events, sack races remains were encountered, as well as climbing race nut,clogs, and eating crackers.
Balap karung are also appreciated by newcomers from abroad directly involved in thisrace.
